Tom Padgett came to Auburn as a freshman in electrical engineering in the fall of 1958. He married a local girl, Mary Lou Poucher in 1961, graduated in 1963, and moved to Syracuse, NY to work with General Electric. He returned to Auburn in 1967 to work for Auburn University, retiring from AU in 1991. Tom and Mary Lou have two married sons and three grandchildren; all are deeply involved in working for our Lord. Tom's special interest is in helping newcomers to become actively involved in serving our Lord, and he also enjoys drinking coffee with friends and playing with his grandkids.
