Morris Ware and his wife, Sarah, moved to Auburn in 1977. Morris was baptized into Christ in 1978 and has been part of the Auburn Church of Christ since 1986. Morris served this congregation as a Deacon, working with the Benevolence ministry, and then he became an elder in 2005. Having retired in 2000 from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where he worked as the Hospital Administrator for the Small Animal Surgery and Medicine Department, Morris now enjoys golf, fishing, and gardening. The Wares have two sons, Eliot and Adrian, both of whom live in Maryland, and one daughter, Kimberly, who lives in Savannah, Georgia. When they are able, Morris and Sarah are off spoiling one of their seven grandchildren.
