Ministry Interns

Our congregation has a rich heritage of training those interested in the possibility of pursuing full-time careers in ministry. As a result, we currently offer internships in two specific areas: Youth Ministry and Campus Ministry. Full year internships (running January to December), which are part-time, and full-time Summer (10 or 12 week) internships are available.

Also, as we are constantly striving to seek qualified, competent, and stellar individuals, we will gladly accept resumes year round. Specifically, though, we begin our organized search process for interns in September.

To find out more about the internship areas that we have here at the Auburn Church of Christ, please contact us.

Ben Brinkerhoff

Ben Brinkerhoff

Ben Brinkerhoff is a senior in Agricultural Economics. He has lived in Auburn his entire life and grew up attending the Auburn Church of Christ. His late father, Jim, served as Campus Minister for the ACSC for 30 years and his mother, Mary, continues to serve the ACSC as the Activities Coordinator. He has two older sisters, Amy and Anna. Amy currently works for Pepperdine University, and Anna is working on her PhD at Brown University. Ben enjoys listening to podcast, spending time with his friends in Ridgecrest, and hanging out with his family and friends. Ben is excited about to the opportunity to serve the ACSC, and hopes to be able to give back, at least a little, to the ministry that has given him so much.

Becca LaCourse

Becca-LaCourseBecca LaCourse is a graduate student at Auburn University in Civil Engineering, focusing on Structural Engineering. She grew up in Huntsville, AL. She began visiting Central Church of Christ when she was in high school, and quickly became a follower of Christ. She is often confused with her identical twin sister, Tabitha, who also graduated from Auburn in May 2015, and has a degree in Health Administration. Tabitha now works at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN, so the confusing encounters for others have decreased. Becca enjoys reading, playing ultimate Frisbee (especially on top of volcanoes), making quilts and other needle-art, and watching Pride and Prejudice on replay. Becca is incredibly blessed to be able to serve as an intern for the ACSC, leading and encouraging many other college girls on their walk with their one and true Savior.
